Today I want to show you the decoration of my bedroom. My husband and I designed the house we live in  and we made it a priority to have a big bedroom with a nice  en-suite bathroom. A spacy walk-in closet also couldn´t be missing.

The whole room is a mixture of Asian, colonial and Scandinavian.

The latest purchases for our bedroom are these two boxes. They make a perfect place to hide the pillows and the bedcover at a night time. I change pillows according to the season of the year. This autumn I have a thing for the Kilim patterns.

For now I am pleased, but let´s see how long it stays that way.

Oh, remember my post about the „Missoni for Lindex Collection“? Yesterday the collection hit the stores, so I went to our local Lindex Store. I was very positively surprised with lots of nice pieces and their good quality. I found some things for myself, the girls and even for my mum – I am very happy with the purchases and I feel like another “outfit post” is coming up.

Days are getting shorter and darker here in Sweden. With the dark times comes the wish for a light. Beautiful lamps and candleholders are on top of my shopping list at the moment.

A big dream of mine is the classical Bestlite lamp. Winston Churchill used to have a reading lamp from this brand. I love the timeless design. Unfortunately, they cost quite a lot and have to stay on the wish list for now.

Lately I also discovered the Danish brand Bloomingville. They do very nice lamps and accessories for the home.

The baskets give a cozy autumn look and would be perfect for harvesting the apples in our garden.

I am currently redecorating my home a bit – we bought a new dining table and I guess wooden candleholders would look perfect on it.

I will have to find a Bloomingville store soon.

When I think about it, autumn is probably my favorite season, at least when it comes to fashion, for the house and for myself.

Wow, we are already in mid-September and the Fashion Weeks are taking place all over the world.  As soon as I see the first pictures of the shows and new collections, I am starting to plan outfits for various days and occasions. After that I get obsessed with making sure that I have all of them ready in case one of these days comes. Even if it doesn´t, I am ready

Yes, I am a true Fashion-Admirer, not a victim, but in love, since I was about 3 years old. And nothing could ever stop that. Becoming a mum might have changed the occasions (less party, more day-to-day), but I am still the same and always will be.

Inspired by high-street AW 12/13 collections, I want to show you my personal wish list – my birthday is just a few weeks away so don’t think that it´s a coincidence. I will make sure my hubby will get a copy of that link.

Hope you are all enjoying the pictures of NYFW as much as I do, mmmhhh, already planning the spring.
