…a DAY at home…

Time is flying and another week has already passed by. Here in Sweden, everyday life is slowly starting again after the long summer break. One must still enjoy the last warm days. Could that really be it?

I refuse to believe so and keep dreaming of the late warm summer days with the magic light you can only have at that time of the year.

Following these colors – the colors of Indian summer – I would like to share some pictures from the new collection of one of my absolute favorite brands when it comes to interior accessories. “DAY home” is the Danish interior label from DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. Denmark and the Danish brands are a big inspiration for me in the area of interior design.

I love the colors presented in the new autumn/winter collection and the set-up of pictures really suites my taste. I could buy everything but i guess i will have to decide on only some pieces.

Autumn Craving

Finally summer is here. Yes, the summer here in Sweden has also been very cold and wet so far, but the last week the warmth finallly arrived. Of course i am enjoying the weather, but at the same time when the sun is shining warm, i am already planning my autumm purchases.

The new collections are out now and i am spending my evenings browsing the lookbooks of my favourite brands. One of them is Stockholm based Hunkydory. A brand with contemporary scandinavian design with focus on great quality basics.

Personally i think that their AW/12 Collection is the best one so far. At least it fits my current taste of fashion very much.

I love the mix of leather, knits and metallics. Of course nothing new and revolutionary , but very well made ! I really like the combination of a lace blouse and black leather, very Marant and very wearable.

I can see both, the darks and the lights, in everyday life as well as on a night out in town. And isn’t that what we all want from fashion ?

Wearable pieces with a great compatible side to fit all the moments of life.

Hej from Stockholm!

I am the new ambassador of Stylekompass in Sweden. My name is Tilla and I am a German Girl living in Stockholm now for more than 5 years. I am a Mom of 2 beautiful girls and married to a wonderful husband.
