A pure paradise for flea market fans

At the weekend I went to a historical flea market place in Marwitz, close to Berlin.
A 20.000 m² paradise for lovers of antiques and for all of you guys who are just renovating their home!
Believe me – there is nothing you can think of, that you won´t find there!
Historical wooden floors and tiles, iconic and Corinthian pillars, doors in all various styles and epochs, sculptures, stairs, lamps, antique furniture…and so on and so long…

In the in-house manufactory you have the opportunity to choose some old wood and built your own customized table out of it. Just come and built your own individual antique piece! I was so impressed by the idea!
If you combine some of those gorgeous antique chairs with it – you have a fairy tale highlight in your dining room.

This head of a Corinthian pillar could be converted to a perfect table for your living room.
Check out those amazing original Art Nouveau tiles. They would for sure be a great addition to your bathroom or kitchen walls.

This historical kitchen scale would make your baking session twice as much fun!
With those welcoming stair pillar you will have the feeling that your stairs are leading directly to heaven….step by step!

Just when I was taking a look at these beautiful old suitcases, the owner of a travel agency came and bought them all for his window display! Lucky him! They will be the perfect decoration!

The doors to people’s hearts – these two sculptures are the entrance to a huge stock of hundreds of doors from all styles and epochs! You just have to polish them up to make them shine and open your heart again!

After spending the whole Saturday on discovering one jewel after another, you can warm up at this warm fireplace. There you can get a tasty “Ritter soup”, baked apples, waffles and delicious mulled wine.  You can enjoy the atmosphere and be happy with bags full of nice rarities for your home. ;)

La petite veste noire – the little black Jacket

Hey all, my name is Victoria…I’m French and I’m in love with fashion and trends but especially the French fashion. I studied art at school and I have always been an observer of women styles. I am a traveller of Europe and at the moment I live in the South of Spain. However, no matter where I go I will never lose my French roots. I am very much aware of what’s happening in the fashion industry simply because…that’s my drug!

We all have different opinions and styles but today I’ll share mine with you:) I adore the simplicity and the phrase “less is more“ describes my vision of a perfect outfit. To me, a nice pair of tight jeans, a cotton T-shirt with some graphic pattern on it with a black blazer and leather ballerinas makes it all. The must for a successful look is a little black jacket… yes…we all have one in our closet, no matter how old we are I’m sure 90% of all women owns it one!

This takes me to the original, famous and fabulous; Chanel: “La petite veste noire” (The little black jacket”). Chanel is one of my favorite fashion designers. As a French woman I’m really proud of the brand; the story behind it, its prestige and reputation around the world.

The Chanel little black jacket is such a myth that Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld made a whole exhibition about it. That’s what amazes me about Chanel. It is so traditional but at the same time so up-to-date. Lagerfeld and Roitfeld got it all and this photography exhibition proves it.

Lagerfeld demonstrates his own interpretation of a classic and traditional item. He worked with celebrities from different professions; fashion designers, actors etc. What they all have in common are strong personality and unique style. He succeeded to mix this diversity of characters and created a perfect harmony that corresponds to the image of Chanel.

If you have a chance to see the exhibitions do it!! Otherwise I advise you to watch the teaser here (It is so French, J’adore!):
