A temporary home in the center of Hamburg.
Henri is a welcoming hotel for cosmopolitan and unconventional guests. It’s not just another hotel with a commodity design! There are 65 cool and retro styled studios, suites and loft suites waiting for you! You simply have to be impressed: dark wooden floors, cozy sofas, handmade carpets, custom made furniture and accessories. The rooms are also partly equipped with kitchen units!
You can even find an individual ‚HENRI wallpaper‘ on the walls: triangle tables and nostalgia phones that are giving a living room an atmosphere of the 50’s!
The meeting point at the hotel is „The Abendbrod!“. Here you can meet with other hotel guests, have breakfast or just a bedtime-snack.
The funny thing about it: the guests can get it themselves out of the retro-fridge in the open kitchen. For example prepared soups or salads are waiting for you! And every weekend they will surprise you with different cakes and a good coffee.
But no worries- you can run off these pounds again! At the gym downstairs!
There’s also a very nice wellness area on the upper floor – including a view over the rooftops of my beautiful Hamburg.

A wonderful discovery is the shop ‚Beach House‚ run by Sue and Louise in a cosy corner of Mission Beach.
They love to present bespoke and one-off pieces. They also make beautiful jewellery by hand.
It is simply a lovely shop for home decor & jewellery in the tropical part of Australia, Mission Beach.
Visit Beach House websites:
Ikou is one of the Australia’s prime Beauty, Tea & Candle purveyors. They are based in a small town called Leura in the Blue Mountains – a World Heritage site just outside Sydney. They pride themselves on making everything by hand and using only the finest natural and organic ingredients. They also have a beautiful shop and spa.
In JapaneseThe name Ikou means ‚to rest, relax & restore‘, which I certainly did on my visit there.
Keep your skin smiling,
